I have a VRCover Link cable. It is not recognised by Oculus Link when plugged into the USB-C port on my ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING motherboard. When plugged into my GPU's VirtualLink port, it does work, but slowly; Oculus complains about it supposedly being a USB 2 connection (despite the cable being advertised as 10Gbps), and the speed tests back

The charging systems will not overcharge the batteries. My understanding is that they basically approach or reach 100% (the point where the battery isn't accepting any more charge or more charge isn't changing anything) then poll/test the battery every few minutes and wait until it's drained a little (to 98% or whatever) before activating again.
Not charging the batter to 100% will extend it's lifespan. Not charging the battery every single time you use just 1% of it, will extend it's lifespan. So for example, I wouldn't expect your laptop to charge the battery up until you've used about 85%, and it might stop at 95% or keep going to 100%. 0 Kudos.
